PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN STRATEGI CRITICAL INCIDENT

The active learning strategy of the critical incident type is a learning strategy that aims to involve students from the beginning by involving their experiences and strategies used to start the lesson. This learning activity is used to encourage active learning and invite students to learn to criticize important experiences that are never forgotten. The research method used is classroom action research using data analysis techniques in the form of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. For quantitative analysis, descriptive statistics are used to see the average percentage score and completeness of learning outcomes. From the average calculation, it can be seen that the learning outcomes of students in Cycle I obtained an average value of 54.9%. Then there was an increase of 34% where students' ability to answer learning outcome test questions in Cycle II obtained an average value of 88.9%. These results were obtained using descriptive analysis. From these results, it can be said that student learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject of composition material using the critical incident strategy in class V of SDN 51 Toli-Toli have increased.
