MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERHITUNG PERMULAAN MELALUI METODE BERNYANYI DAN MEDIA FLASH CARD

The low initial numeracy ability in mathematics learning in class I students at SD Negeri 51 Toli-Toli is due to the lack of variety of methods and media in learning, thereby reducing interest in learning mathematics which causes a lack of numeracy skills in class I students. To overcome this problem, research was conducted class action (PTK) through the singing method assisted by flash card media. The aim of this research is to improve initial numeracy skills through the singing method assisted by flash cards in class I at SD Negeri 51 Toli-Toli. The research subjects were 20 students, the research data sources were obtained from data from observations of teacher and student activities, student response questionnaires and test data on students' initial numeracy skills. The results of the first cycle of research obtained that 14 students out of 20 students completed individually with a percentage of 75%. Meanwhile, the results of the second cycle of research experienced an increase with the number of students who completed it individually as many as 19 students out of 20 students who took part in the study with a percentage of 79%. Based on the results of this research, learning using the singing method assisted by flash cards can improve the initial numeracy skills of class I students at SD Negeri 51 Toli-Toli.
