Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes through the two stay two stray type cooperative learning model. Student learning outcomes in science learning material on Changes in Form of Objects in Class IV have not yet achieved maximum results, there are still many obstacles. So there is a need for an appropriate learning model to improve the learning outcomes of class IV students at SD Negeri 2 Marasende. This research was conducted on 14 research subjects who were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Marasende. Data collection using observation instruments, documentation, and learning outcomes test data. Data analysis with the ability of students obtained through the results test. The results showed that: Students' learning outcomes of changes in the form of objects have increased after being given a learning outcome test using the two stay two stray type cooperative learning model with a percentage of 90% which is in the good category. This can be seen from the increase in the completeness of student learning outcomes in each cycle. In cycle I, 11 students were in the unfinished category and 3 students were in the unfinished category or the average score was 78%. Meanwhile, in cycle II, out of 14 students, all were in the complete category with an average score of 82.85%.
