Abstract

Masa awal menikah sangat identik dengan permasalahan adaptasi yang perlu dihadapi oleh pasangan. Salah satu faktor yang juga berkontribusi pada pernikahan di Indonesia adalah adanya kultur kolektivistik. Kepuasan pernikahan menjadi tolak ukur dalam menentukan seberapa berhasilnya pasangan melakukan adaptasi dalam hubungan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari resolusi konflik dan ekspresivitas emosi terhadap kepuasan pernikahan pada pasangan masa awal menikah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif desain korelasional dengan partisipan berjumlah 102 orang dengan usia pernikahan 3-5 tahun sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa resolusi konflik memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan pernikahan (p= 0.018; F= 5.672) dengan kontribusi sebesar 5.4% (R2= 0.054), sedangkan variabel ekspresivitas emosi tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kepuasan pernikahan pada masa awal menikah (p> 0.05).
