Abstract

Untuk mempromosikan desain instruksional yang inovatif dalam pembimbingan riset di bidang pendidikan matematika, kami melakukan proyek penelitian berbasis riset untuk mengeksplorasi lintasan belajar mahasiswa dalam melakukan riset. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pemikiran mahasiswa setiap tahapan lintasan belajar hipotesis (HLT) dan gambaran model teori instruksional lokal (LIT) dalam pembimbingan riset mahasiswa di bidang pendidikan matematika. Dalam artikel ini, kami menggunakan metode research desain dengan tahapan: (1) Preliminary Design; (2) Teaching Experiment; dan (3) Retrospective Analysis. 4 mahasiswa pendidikan matematika dan berada pada semester akhir berpartispasi dalam penelitian ini Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  kami menemukan pola berdasarkan analisis retrospektif. Selanjutnya, kami merumuskan LIT untuk mendukung pembimbingan riset di bidang pendidikan matematika, yakni: (1) mahasiswa memahami etika penulisan karya ilmiah; (2) mahasiswa memanfaatkan peluang mendapatkan ide melalui review artikel; (3) mahasiswa menetapkan tema penelitian berdasarkan hasil narrative review; (4) mahasiswa menetapkan desain penelitian; (5) mahasiswa melakukan studi pilot untuk mendukung tema penelitian yang diambil; (6) mahasiswa melakukan analisis dan interpretasi data hasil penelitian; (7) mahasiswa mengomparasikan temuan dan hasil penelitian sebelumnya; dan (8) mahasiswa mendesiminasikan atau mempublikasikan hasil penelitian. Model LIT yang dihasilkan memberikan kontribusi sebagai kerangka acuan dalam pembimbingan riset dibidang pendidikan matematika.
