ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang profil kemampuan literasi matematis siswa kelas VIII SMP Bala Keselamatan Palu dalam menyelesaikan soal pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Bala Keselamatan Palu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah tiga orang siswa yang terdiri dari satu siswa berkemampuan tinggi (AD) satu siswa berkemampuan sedang (CT) dan satu siswa berkemampuan rendah (AP). Data kemampuan literasi matematis siswa diperoleh dengan tes tertulis dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pada siswa AD mampu memenuhi indikator literasi pada level 5, siswa CT mampu memenuhi indikator literasi pada level 3 dan siswa AP mampu memenuhi indikator literasi pada level 2.
