ABSTRACT
This research focuses on developing learning media, specifically, Student Worksheets (LKPD), based on a fractional card game using a Problem-based Learning (PBL) approach and the ADDIE development model. The objectives of this research are: 1) to describe the development procedure of the LKPD based on fractional card games with a valid, practical, and effective PBL approach, 2) to analyze how the use of the LKPD based on fractional card games with the PBL approach can increase students' learning interest, and 3) to analyze how the use of the LKPD based on fractional card games with the PBL approach can improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. Data collection techniques included observation sheets, interviews, questionnaires, and problem-solving ability tests. The research results show that: 1) the LKPD developed using the ADDIE model was valid, receiving a score of 4.4 from media experts and 4.5 from material and language experts. The LKPD was practical, with an average student response rate of 99.38% and an average teacher observation score of 4 (very good). The LKPD was also effective, with average pretest and posttest scores for learning interest being 64.06 and 69.78 and for problem-solving ability being 57.50 and 77.97, respectively, 2) the use of LKPD based on fractional card games with the PBL approach can increase students' learning interest, and 3) the use of LKPD based on fractional card games with the PBL approach can also improve the mathematical problem-solving abilities of fourth-grade students at the Community Learning Center (CLC) Ladang Rajawali, Sarawak.
