PERBANDINGAN KEFEKTIFAN GOOGLE CLASSROM DAN MICROSOFT TEAMS DALAM MENGELOLA KELAS ONLINE

Learning Manajemen System (LMS) menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran selama masa Covid-19. Dua diantara LMS yang sudah dikenal oleh masyarakat pelajar yaitu Google Classroom dan Microsoft Teams. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan keefektifan kedua LMS dalam mengelola kelas online agar diperoleh informasi yang lebih jelas tentang kelebihan, kekurangan serta keefektifan masing-masing LMS. Dalam pelaksanaannya peneliti menggunakan dua LMS ini untuk mengajar pada dua kelompok kelas di Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka. Kemudian mengukur dan membandingkan kelebihan dan kekurangan kedua LMS pada beberapa indikator. Instrumen utama dalam menganalisa kelebihan dan kekurangan kedua LMS ini adalah peneliti sendiri. Data diperoleh pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Semua informasi tentang fungsi fitur kedua LMS dikumpulkan kemudian direduksi sehingga diperoleh data yang jelas yang mempermudah dalam membuat kesimpulan. Data lain berupa hasil belajar mahasiswa juga dikumpulkan menggunakan fitur pengujian masing-masing LMS. Ternyata tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua hasil belajar yang diperoleh. Disisi lain, ada delapan fitur LMS yang masing-masing memiliki keunggulan. Google Classroom unggul dalam hal kecepatan akses, fitur penilaian dan fitur absensi. Microsoft Teams unggul dalam hal penyimpanan data dan komunikasi. Sementara fitur administrasi, pengujian dan penyampaian bahan ajar masing-masing memiliki kelebihan tersendiri untuk kedua LMS masing-masing.Referensi
