Abstrak

Kecemasan matematika merupakan salah satu masalah serius di Pendidikan tinggi. Kecemasan ini dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh dari kecemasan matematika yang berhubungan dengan evaluasi dan kecemasan belajar matematika. Kecemasan matematika dari 416 mahasiswa di Sulawesi Selatan diukur dengan menggunakan AMAS (Abbreviated Mathematics Anxiety Scale). Hasilnya dihubungkan dengan hasil belajar dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan SEM-PLS. Analisis SEM-PLS menunjukkan bahwa kedua kecemasan menunjukkan pengaruh negatif terhadap hasil belajar meskipun hanya kecemasan yang berhubungan dengan evaluasi yang menunjukkan hasil signifikan. Selain itu, analisis mediasi dengan PLS-MGA menunjukkan bahwa gender bukan variabel yang memediasi hubungan kecemasan matematika dan hasil belajar.
