Analisis Kesulitan Siswa Memahami Materi SPLTV Ditinjau dari KAM Pada Kelas Virtual

Kemampuan awal matematika siswa sangat penting diketahui sebagai dasar bagi siswa memahami materi selanjutnya. Permasalahan konstektual dalam materi SPLTV membuat siswa banyak mengalami kesulitan dalam memecahkan permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan siswa kelas X pada kelas virtual dalam memahami materi SPLTV ditinjau dari kemampuan awal matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 6 Depok dengan sample sebanyak 56 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sample yaitu dengan cara Siswa terlebih dahulu diberikan soal pre-test. Dari hasil pre-test, siswa dikategorikan sesuai kemampuan awal matematika siswa. Dari 56 siswa, diambil 6 siswa sesuai kategori kemampuan awal matematika berdasarkan pre-test. Data diambil dari hasil analisis test uraian SPLTV dan wawancara. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah Siswa berkemampuan awal tinggi memahami konsep dari SPLTV, sehingga siswa mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan SPLTV. Namun, siswa berkemampuan awal sedang dan rendah mengalami kesulitan memahami materi SPLTV, salah satunya karena model pembelajaran dalam kelas virtual sehingga siswa kesulitan dalam memahami konsep dari SPLTV. Kesulitan siswa berkemampuan awal sedang dan rendah dalam memahami konsep SPLTV membuat siswa tidak dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan SPLTV dengan baik.
