KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIS SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA MENGGUNAKAN TEORI APOS PADA SISWA KELAS VIII.1 SMP NEGERI 6 SEKAYU

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika menggunakan teori APOS pada materi luas permukaan dan volume kubus dan balok. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII.1 SMP Negeri 6 Unggul Sekayu yang berjumlah 29 orang. teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes kemapuan berpikir kritis yang tediri dari 3 soal uraian, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi untuk memperoleh data tambahan. Bedasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII. 1 SMP Negeri 6 Unggul Sekayu adalah cukup dengan rincian sebagai berikut: persentase siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan kategori baik sebanyak 36%, persentase siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan kategori cukup 9%, persentase siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan kategori kurang 45%, persentase siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan kategori sangat kurang 9%, serta tidak terdapat siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan kategori sangat baik.
