Abstrak

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh rasa percaya diri dan semangat belajar matematika terhadap prestasi akademik pada mata pelajaran tersebut. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan desain penelitian ex post facto. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa MAN 2 Bantul dan SMA 5 Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Pemilihan sampel akan dilakukan dengan pendekatan random sampling. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan kuesioner dan observasi sebagai alat utama. Pendekatan analisis data yang digunakan meliputi metode deskriptif dan inferensial, dengan statistik inferensial khusus menggunakan regresi linier ganda. Temuan analisis regresi linier ganda menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara statistik antara rasa percaya diri dan keinginan belajar matematika terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa MAN 2 Bantul dan SMA 5 Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.
